Born in Xiamen, China, grew up in Hong Kong, Ko Siu Lan holds a Master of Philosophy in Sociology. She worked as a program manager for community development and philanthropic projects in China until 2007.
Her art installations and performances have been shown internationally in Beijing, Brussels, Bangkok, Copenhagen, Hong Kong, Jerusalem, London, New York, Paris, Sao Paulo, Stockholm, Singapore, Tel Aviv, Warsaw, etc.
After completed the Post-graduate Research Program La Seine at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris in 2009, she now lives between Hong Kong and Toronto.
